The young designers runway was by far the most interesting part of the catwalk presentation throughIstanbul Fashion Week. It was there that we saw Istanbul’s bright shinning and fast rising star, Zeynep Tosun, Maragoni BA and MA graduate. The 28 year old designer learned her couture from working at Alberta Ferretti where designing meant constructing. There was no sketching, it was all highly detailed and intricate construction that led to a garments consideration as part of the next collection.
These photos hardly do the Zeynep Tosun’s collection any justice, as the true workmanship is only really clear in the touch. You will be hearing and seeing much more on this designer very soon.
